Services

Primary care for the visits that fill a calendar year.

CaliMed focuses on what neighborhood clinics do best: prevention, chronic disease stability, women’s health, same-week evaluation for many non-emergency symptoms, and careful handoffs when you need hospitals, imaging, or specialists.

Core programs

Where we spend most of our clinical time

01

Primary care & wellness

Annual physicals, preventive screening plans, blood pressure and diabetes follow-up, cholesterol management, medication reconciliation, and lifestyle coaching.

02

Women’s health

Wellness visits, menopause support, risk-based screening guidance, and coordination with gynecology when specialty care is indicated.

03

Acute (non-emergency) visits

Evaluation of cough, fever, sore throat, sinus symptoms, urinary complaints, rashes, and similar issues when symptoms are stable enough for outpatient care.

Primary care detail

One medical home for predictable and surprise needs

Think of us as the quarterback for your routine data (labs, vitals, meds) and the first call when something new—but not catastrophic—appears.

  • Preventive visits tailored to age and risk.
  • Chronic disease monitoring with adjustment timelines.
  • Lab orders with result review in plain language.
  • Specialist referrals when advanced care is safer or more effective.

Women’s health detail

Support across life stages

Primary care women’s health blends screening, symptom management, and shared decision-making—especially around menopause, contraception follow-up with specialists, and cancer-risk conversations.

  • Preventive counseling and exam planning.
  • Menopause symptom strategies.
  • Coordination for abnormal findings.

Care coordination

When care leaves our building

Labs, imaging, and specialists use their own systems and schedules. We cannot speed them up, but we can explain why a test was ordered, what your results mean, and whether your next step is back with us or with another clinician.

  • 1

    Order & explain

We document the reason for outside services and set expectations for timing and follow-up.

  • 2

    Review results

When records return, we interpret them in the context of your history—not as isolated numbers.

  • 3

    Adjust the plan

Together we decide on home care, a return visit, specialist follow-up, or urgent escalation.

Emergencies. Chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, trouble breathing, or other life-threatening issues require 911 or an emergency department—not a routine slot.

Still deciding if primary care is the right setting?
